Man sets world record by running a 26-mile marathon backwards while juggling three balls

Joe Salter has recently set a RecordSetter world record by running a “26.20-mile marathon backwards in five hours, 51 minutes, 25 seconds while juggling three balls.” Joe completed this task at the Quad Cities Marathon on September 22, 2013 in Moline, Illinois.

In setting the record, Salter made two drops out of 62,460 total throws, but following RecordSetter rules, made no forward motion until picking up the dropped balls and continuing to juggle.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
