C2000™ MCU Motor Control Primer

There is a significant demand for well-equipped digital motor control (DMC) platforms to educate the next generation of engineers.  In this users guide, a number of introductory-level digital motor control methodologies and laboratory tools are presented. These tools help engineers learn how to easily construct their own systems using TI provided device drivers, APIs, utilities, and libraries. Also learn about TI’s motor control developer’s kits, software framework, and DMC library. These documents provide a modular development strategy which allows the user to experiment incrementally from a basic to an advanced level.

Quickly and accurately identify inter-domain leakage issues in IC designs

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Power domain leakage is a major IC reliability issue, often missed by traditional tools. This white paper describes challenges of identifying leakage, types of false results, and presents Siemens EDA’s Insight Analyzer. The tool proactively finds true leakage paths, filters out false positives, and helps circuit designers quickly fix risks—enabling more robust, reliable chip designs. With detailed, context-aware analysis, designers save time and improve silicon quality.
