Green Hills Software to Demonstrate New Freescale ARM Technology at electronica 2010

SANTA BARBARA, CA — November 3, 2010 — Green Hills Software, Inc., the largest independent vendor of embedded software solutions, will debut and demonstrate its new run-time and development solutions for the ARM® Cortex™-M4 at electronica 2010, November 9-12, 2010, in Munich, Germany. Green Hills Software will demonstrate the solutions in Freescale’s booth # 107 in Hall A6.

Green Hills Demonstration:

The μ-velOSity Microkernel RTOS and Advanced Trace TimeMachine Tools on the Freescale Kinetis K60 Microcontroller

  • The μ-velOSity™ microkernel RTOS is ultra-small and fast, ideally suited for Kinetis-based products found in medical devices, smart energy meters and industrial programmable logic controllers.
  • The MULTI® suite of development tools is tightly integrated with the µ-velOSity microkernel RTOS enabling simultaneous multiple task debugging including OS-awareness, profiling and code coverage visibility.
  • Unique among other Kinetis solutions in the industry are the TimeMachine™ tools and SuperTrace™ Probe that enable reverse execution through the program. They also greatly enhance the software developer’s visibility into the application through non-intrusive trace data from the ARM Cortex-M4 trace macrocell.

Want early design analysis without simulation?

Sponsored by Siemens Digital Industries Software

Traditional verification methods are failing today's complex IC designs, which require a proactive, early-stage analysis approach. A shift-left methodology addresses IP block integration challenges and the limitations of traditional simulation and ERC tools. Insight Analyzer detects hard-to-find leakage issues across power domains, enabling early analysis without full simulation. Identify inefficiencies earlier to reduce rework, improve reliability, and enhance power performance.
