Third Annual SoCIP 2010 Symposium in China

San Jose, California – May 4, 2010 – More than a dozen silicon IP and SoC design technology related companies will exhibit and give talks at the third annual SoCIP event aiming at brining the latest SoC design technologies to China.  SoCIP 2010 symposium will be held in Shanghai at Parkyard Hotel Pudong on June 1st and in Beijing at WenJing International Hotel on June 3rd.  All interested participants should register through the official SoCIP website at www.socip.org before May 20th, 2010.

The SoCIP event is supported by the China’s National Software and Integrated Circuit Public Service Platform (CSIP) and has attracted top IP design companies such as CAST, Chips & Media, Cosmic Circuits, Innopower, Innosilicon, Tensilica, Northwest Logic and Transwitch to participate. “This is the third year we will be presenting our large portfolio of IP solutions at SoCIP,” said Newton Abdalla, Vice President of CAST. “I look forward to present our latest multimedia solutions including the latest enhancements to our H.264 core.  China is a very important market for CAST and the SoCIP show is a great opportunity for us to meet leading SoC designers from China”

“SoCIP’s mission is to serve the SoC design community by providing technologies and product information that enable precise SoC building on the first try. The 2010 theme is designing SoC with system-prototyping IP,” said Mon-Ren Chene, Chairman and CTO of S2C, the organizer of the SoCIP. “S2C has long being an advocate for a common system prototyping platform for IP design, IP evaluation, IP integration and SoC verification. We are proud to present a number of IP reference designs provided by our IP partners running on S2C’s TAI Logic Module system prototyping hardware. We believe the system-prototyping IP library can greatly speed up IP selection process, reduce IP integration time and increase the quality of the SoC design.”

SoCIP 2010 will continue its tradition to entertain its audience with a balance of first-hand knowledge from leading experts from world-wide vendors and exciting entertainment to lighten the mood with a dose of fun. Most 2009 participants enjoyed the wakening African dance show, the eye-popping magic show, the international buffet and the lucky draw prices.

The organizer has promised even better entertainments for SoCIP 2010.  SoCIP 2010 will also be well covered by both EE Times China and China Integrated Circuits (CIC) Magazine, the two appointed official media for SoCIP 2010 event.

SoCIP conference attendees must pre-register by May 20th, 2010 and be subsequently subject to approval by a selection committee before being invited to this premier event.
