Eurotech Announces COM Express Board Based on the Latest Intel® Core™ i7 Processor

COLUMBIA, Md., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ — Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products, and systems, today announces the launch of Adbc8031, a COM Express (Type 2) embedded board based on the highly integrated Intel Core i7 processor and Mobile Intel® QM57 Express chipset.  The Eurotech Adbc8031 is targeted for applications requiring high-end computing and graphics capabilities.

Key benefits of the Adbc8031 include:

  • High performance through Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology, allowing four threads to be run simultaneously for faster performance
  • Reliability through Error Correction Code (ECC) support with ECC-supported memory for reduced data and memory errors
  • Extensive I/O  including SATA ports, Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, and much more
  • Operating system options include Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard 2009, and Wind River Linux 3.0
  • Flexibility through carrier board design leveraging Eurotech’s customization and design capabilities
