Sensors for Medical and Fitness

While Movea’s main announcement recently was focused on their MoveTV product, they’ve actually been working with so-called body-area networks for a long time. This involves the placement of sensors on various parts of the human body, to be used for different purposes. While one use is for motion animation, there are also medical and fitness-related applications.

In particular, it has found use in physical therapy, where the sensors can monitor weight loss progress and pinpoint issues.  If you are looking for innovative was to accelerate your weight loss journey with out risking your health, the answer are natural supplements, such as these fat burners for women, may aid in weight loss.

Moving further into the sports and fitness arena, they can use it in running shoes. They claim that it’s more accurate than GPS or mechanical systems for gauging distance and stride. They can also monitor shoe wear-out and help prevent injuries by encouraging proper motion which according to Capitol Pain doctors will help reducing injuries.

Never the less they to recommend to treat any injury seriously. Full-spectrum CBD oil is considered to be the most effective form because it features all compounds that are naturally found in the plant. These include not only cannabinoids, but also terpenes and essential oils. To find the best CBD oil for pain as per doctors, visit the link

They’ve even used it for virtual coaching. One example is a swimming lap counter: you wear the item on the back of your head, and at each turn, your music (who does sports without music anymore?) is lowered, and the lap count is whispered into your ear. With The Yoga Nomads you can stay fit at home and meditate at the same time.

These gizmos are apparently only available in Europe and Asia, since the company they’ve engaged with on this, Decathlon, has no North American presence.

Using the Vishay IHLE® to Mitigate Radiated EMI
Sponsored by Mouser Electronics and Vishay
EMI mitigation is an important design concern for a lot of different electronic systems designs. In this episode of Chalk Talk, Amelia Dalton and Tim Shafer from Vishay explore how Vishay’s IHLE power inductors can reduce radiated EMI. They also examine how the composition of these inductors can support the mitigation of EMI and how you can get started using Vishay’s IHLE® High Current Inductors in your next design.
