Keysight Technologies Partners with IPTE Factory Automation, Introduces Automated Handler for In-Circuit Test Solution

Highlights:

  • Minimal footprint i1000D in-circuit test solution
  • Integrates into standard 19-inch rack for full, inline SMT solution
  • Industry-leading in-circuit test capabilities

SANTA ROSA, Calif., Nov. 9, 2015 – Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced it has partnered with IPTE Factory Automation (www.ipte.com) to add automated in-circuit test handlers to Keysight’s i1000 in-circuit test modules.

With this new offering, electronics manufacturers looking for minimal footprint in-circuit test solutions can add Keysight’s 19-inch rack-mounted in-circuit test solution.

“With the IPTE test handler, PCBA manufacturers can now run with two 1,664-node boards in parallel,” said Kris Smeers, IPTE sales director. “Using a Keysight ICT module with dual-lane conveyors, manufacturers can also choose to run multiple ICT tests serially. We are confident of providing one of the most versatile lines to help the end-users balance their automated solutions.”

“With this announcement, we have achieved a major milestone in our factory test automation strategy,” said NK Chari, director of marketing and support for Keysight Technologies’ Measurement Systems Division. “This partnership, together with our fully-automated i1000 small footprint and i3070 in-circuit testers, broadens our portfolio for space-constrained customers looking for just-enough tests to ensure electrical integrity of their PCBAs.”

Keysight is hosting a series of automated in-circuit test webinars to discuss automated in-circuit test applications. Additional information, including registration for the webinars, is available at www.keysight.com/find/inline.

Keysight will be demonstrating the i1000-IPTE solution at Productronica, Hall A1, Booth 576, Munich, Nov. 10–13. Additional information about Keysight’s in-circuit test solutions is available at www.keysight.com/find/ict.
