Xilinx Honors Xylon With 2012 Alliance Program Collaboration Award

ZAGREB, CROATIA, Jan. 3, 2013 – Xylon d.o.o. today announced that it has been honored with a 2012 Alliance Program Collaboration Award by Xilinx, Inc. This prestigious award recognizes Alliance Program members for their successful collaboration with Xilinx to drive customer innovation with the company’s All Programmable FPGAs, SoCs and 3D ICs.

The distinction was awarded to Xylon, a leading provider of intellectual property (IP) cores, advanced field programmable gate array (FPGA) application solutions and design services, for providing exceptional products and services in support of Xilinx customers.  For more than 10 years, Xylon has been an active participant in the Xilinx Alliance Program, earning Premier member status in 2010 based upon a rigorous set of Xilinx qualifications.

Xylon has invested in a robust set of solutions that have led to design wins and driven customer innovation for key applications, such as: automotive surround view, advanced driver assistance, industrial imaging and HMI (human machine interface) and graphics processing. Among Xylon’s key areas of investment is a line of graphics IP cores from the company’s logicBRICKS IP library, which includes more than 20 general purpose IP cores and enables a plug-and-play design flow experience. Xylon’s graphics logicBRICKS IP cores are highly optimized for full range implementations of 2D and 3D graphics processing units (GPUs) in Xilinx’s Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC and can be immediately used with different operating systems (e.g., Linux, Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7, Android).

“We’re delighted to celebrate Xylon’s stellar performance over the past year in support of customer success in graphics and video imaging applications,”  said Dave Tokic, Senior Director of Partner Ecosystems and Alliances. “The Xylon team has consistently gone the extra mile to foster open communication and collaborative selling with Xilinx to solve real customer problems. As a result, our mutual customers have experienced the full benefits of All Programmable devices: accelerated design productivity, higher integration without loss of flexibility, increased system performance, reduced system power and reduced bill of material costs through successive generations.”

”Close cooperation with Xilinx has strengthened our capabilities to offer highly optimized IP cores and design services and has opened up significant number of global-scale opportunities,” added Davor Kovacec, Xylon CEO. “We’re honored to be recognized by Xilinx as a valuable partner and remain firm in our commitment to continuously deliver superior products to our mutual customers.  I congratulate the Xylon team on their impressive achievements.”

The Xilinx Alliance Program is a worldwide ecosystem of companies committed to driving customer innovation with Xilinx All Programmable FPGAs, SoCs and 3D ICs. In addition to a proven track record of value-added products and services, Alliance Members must pass a rigorous quality survey and support open platforms and standards. Alliance Program members closely collaborate with Xilinx to accelerate design productivity, while minimizing risk for today’s most advanced electronic systems.
