Zeekr and Intellias Elevate Quality Assurance with AI, Presenting Superior EV Experience at CES 2026

Two companies showcasing an AI-driven innovation for automated visual testing of next-generation in-vehicle infotainment

(Chicago) January 6, 2026 – Intellias, a global partner for AI-enabled product engineering and digital solutions, and Zeekr Technology Europe, the European research and development center of Zeekr, a global premium electric mobility brand, will present an AI-powered innovation for visual testing of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems at CES 2026.

By combining vision-language models (VLMs) and computer vision, the solution automates UI testing end-to-end – creating test cases directly from written requirement and UX design guidelines, then running fully automated checks across navigation, comfort features, media, and connectivity. It understands screens like a human, detects layout or content issues, validates user flows, and monitors performance in real time – without manual scripting. Enabling much deeper and broader test coverage than a human test team can achieve, the approach reflects Zeekr’s commitment to superior product quality.

“This innovation changes how we approach EV software development,” said Christian Hering, Head of Intelligent Software at Zeekr Technology Europe. “By leveraging the power of vision-language models and computer vision, we are transforming quality assurance: what once required hundreds of hours of manual effort is now automated with even greater precision. For Zeekr customers, this translates to an even faster time-to-market for new features with rock-solid reliability. We aren’t just testing software; we are ensuring a premium user experience that stays ahead of the curve.”

By applying AI-driven visual testing that perceives in-vehicle interfaces similarly to a human user, this innovation delivers clear and measurable benefits to automotive product quality assurance:

  • Faster time to market – AI-driven validation significantly accelerates testing cycles, performing up to 4 times faster than manual testing. This enables earlier feedback loops and helps bring new features and products to the market.
  • Reliability and precision – Eliminates human error by maintaining 95%+ accuracy across thousands of tests. Unlike manual efforts, the AI-driven approach ensures consistent validation with no decline in quality, even during the most complex, repetitive test cycles.
  • Efficiency – Operates autonomously in basic CI/CD workflows and adapts to environment changes, with AI handling minor variations without script updates.
  • Flexibility – Supports diverse and complex testing scenarios across various functions. For example, in navigation the system can handle dynamic route changes while validating route-specific properties (charging stations, POIs, navigation data) without requiring updates to the underlying test logic.

“Zeekr continues to redefine the premium EV experience for its customers, and we are proud to contribute to this mission together,” said Intellias Senior Vice President of Mobility Business Juergen Friese. “We believe that this AI-powered quality assurance solution for visual testing will help Zeekr accelerate development, strengthen product quality, and deliver exceptional digital cockpit experience to its drivers. Showcasing the results of our collaboration at CES 2026 is a powerful milestone for both teams and an important step forward in shaping the future of mobility.”

A live demonstration will take place at Intellias Meeting Space #3377, LVCC West Hall, Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility, where visitors can experience the technology in action on a large screen. The showcase will feature two primary scenarios: direct screen capture and external camera-based recognition, demonstrating how AI visually analyzes and validates in-vehicle infotainment performance.

The joint showcase at CES 2026 highlights how Intellias and Zeekr apply AI to solve real-world automotive software challenges, delivering innovative tools that improve product quality, increase customer satisfaction, and accelerate innovation in next-generation electric vehicles.
