Sixfab’s ALPON™ X5 AI Wins CES® 2026 Best of Innovation Award, Advancing Real-Time Physical AI at the Edge

DALLAS–FORT WORTH, Texas | January 6, 2026 — Sixfab announced that its ALPON X5 AI has been named a CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award winner in the Enterprise Tech category. The award, presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), recognizes Sixfab’s execution in delivering deployment-ready Physical AI systems that operate reliably, securely, and scalably at the edge.

Selected from more than 3,600 global submissions, the ALPON X5 AI was recognized not only for enabling real-time Vision AI inference directly on-device, but also for delivering a complete, all-in-one edge AI platform that integrates hardware, embedded software, and cloud-based management, eliminating dependency on cloud processing while meeting the operational demands of industrial, commercial, and critical infrastructure environments.

In addition to the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award, Sixfab was also named the 2025 IoT Evolution World – eSIM Innovation Award winner, recognizing the company’s advancements in secure, scalable eSIM-based connectivity for globally deployed IoT and edge AI systems.

ALPON X5 AI is engineered for organizations deploying vision AI workloads including safety monitoring, anomaly detection, visual inspection, and security analytics where latency, data privacy, and uptime are critical. Powered by the Raspberry Pi and Intelligence by DEEPX, the platform delivers local AI inference at the point of data generation, ensuring deterministic performance, low latency, and complete control over sensitive visual data.

At scale, edge operations often require organizations to build and integrate their own device management and deployment stacks. ALPON X5 AI removes this burden by delivering a complete, vertically integrated platform with built-in device management, application deployment, and lifecycle operations including zero-touch onboarding, remote updates, multi-network connectivity with automatic failover, and centralized fleet orchestration. This edge-native architecture removes cloud inference costs, reduces bandwidth consumption, and ensures continuous operation even in offline or constrained network conditions, making it suitable for factories, warehouses, utilities, transportation hubs, and distributed infrastructure.

The ALPON X5 AI combines high-performance edge computing with dedicated neural acceleration in a compact, fanless, ruggedized enclosure designed for 24/7 operation. The system is optimized for sustained AI workloads, enabling machines and systems to interpret physical events and respond locally in real time. Unlike traditional edge solutions that rely on centralized processing, ALPON X5 AI brings intelligence directly into the physical environment, bridging the gap between digital models and real-world execution.

This platform-level approach enables faster transition from pilot to production, predictable operating costs, and long-term scalability for enterprise AI deployments.

“This recognition from CES underscores our focus on building edge AI systems that are designed for real operations, not experiments,” said Sait Borlak, CEO and Co-Founder of Sixfab. “ALPON X5 AI brings intelligence directly into physical AI operations, delivering deterministic, real-time decisions at the edge, without forcing customers into complex architectures or cloud-driven cost models.”

At CES 2026, Sixfab will also showcase a newly launched product portfolio, reinforcing its position across edge AI, connectivity, and developer-to-industrial transition layers. New products on display include:

  • AI HAT for Raspberry Pi 5, enabling local AI acceleration for computer vision
  • 4G/5G HAT for Raspberry Pi 5, delivering flexible, global cellular connectivity
  • Edge AI Evaluation Kit, designed to accelerate prototyping and validation of Vision AI and Physical AI workloads with connectivity and storage expansion

ALPON X5 AI is available for early access and will be demonstrated live at CES 2026, January 6–9, at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), North Hall, Booth 8763.
