Premier Farnell celebrates the sale of 10 million Raspberry Pi with a special offer for customers

Chicago, United States, November 29, 2017 – Premier Farnell, the Development Distributor, is celebrating the sale of its 10 millionth Raspberry Pi, less than six years after it first began producing Raspberry Pi computers. Premier Farnell now sells over 50,000 Raspberry Pi computers each week to makers, industry and education across the globe, with over 3 million boards sold in North America.Newark element14 is the leading supplier of Raspberry Pi single board computers in North America and has recently expanded its stock of Raspberry Pi development kits and accessories sold under the MCM brand name.

Premier Farnell has been working with the Raspberry Pi Foundation since the launch of Raspberry Pi 1 Model B in 2012 and has a global agreement for the manufacture, distribution and exclusive customization of the Raspberry Pi.
