3M Technology Enables Ultra Low Power All-in-One Smart Zero Client from HP

St. Paul, Minn.—May 16, 2012—3M Optical Systems Division today announced that it has enabled a new zero client, the HP t410 All-in-One Smart Zero Client, which operates within 13 Watts of power. Leveraging its Dual Brightness Enhancement Film for LED backlight monitors, 3M has enabled the first all-in-one zero client capable of being powered by Type 1 PoE (IEEE 802.3af).  This eliminates the need for AC power cords and consumes as much as 78 percent less power than a standard desktop.
