NeoCortec demos NeoMesh wireless network using LoRa® modulation at Embedded World 2025

Demo in Hall 3 on NeoCortec’s stand 426 showcases all the features and benefits of the combination of the two leading wireless technologies

Copenhagen – February 28, 2025 – At Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg Germany from 11th to 13th March 2025 in Hall 3 on Stand 426, NeoCortec, manufacturer of ultra-low-power bi-directional wireless mesh networking protocol stack, will demo a NeoMesh wireless network using LoRa modulation. Visitors to NeoCortec’s stand can learn more about how the combination of NeoMesh’s simple and massive scalability, high reliability and low power with Semtech’s LoRa modulation proven ability to perform well in noisy environments, such as buildings where other 2.4GHz radio systems such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also present, will work in their respective application and find out which benefits it will bring. The demo also showcases how easy it is to set up and run such a wireless network.

Explains Thomas Steen Halkier, CEO of NeoCortec: “The various wireless connectivity technologies all exist because they all address different challenges. Now, at Embedded World we demo a wireless network where the designers can benefit from a combination of leading solutions. We expect this NeoMesh wireless network using LoRa modulation to unlock many wireless networking opportunities in smart buildings and other applications.”

About NeoCortec

NeoCortec was founded in 2007 with the aim of developing and patenting several innovations related to Wireless Sensor Networks. The main product is NeoMesh. NeoMesh is a wireless communication protocol to be embedded in smart devices to enable communication between the devices as well as to the cloud. NeoMesh is built completely from the scratch to overcome some of the limitations that e.g. Zigbee, Zwave, Bluetooth and Thread have: Scalability in number of devices, range and power consumption. At NeoCortec, we aim towards making non-smart and large buildings smarter by using NeoMesh. Easy upgrade without cabling. NeoMesh is available on ultra-low-power bi-directional wireless mesh network communication modules as well as on a license basis on many various chipsets.

High Power Charging Inlets
All major truck and bus OEMs will be launching electric vehicle platforms within the next few years and in order to keep pace with on-highway and off-highway EV innovation, our charging inlets must also provide the voltage, current and charging requirements needed for these vehicles. In this episode of Chalk Talk, Amelia Dalton and Drew Reetz from TE Connectivity investigate charging inlet design considerations for the next generation of industrial and commercial transportation, the differences between AC only charging and fast charge and high power charging inlets, and the benefits that TE Connectivity’s ICT high power charging inlets bring to these kinds of designs.
