Middletown, PA – EMC filters from Phoenix Contact prevent premature failures, shortened service life, and unplanned downtime in high-interference environments. The new filter portfolio limits interference voltages and currents that sensitive equipment can generate during normal operation and under fault conditions.
The FIL-1S family is a conventional in-line filter that protects 120-240 V AC and DC power circuits. The FIL products have additional PE terminal points. This improves the filter effect for high-frequency interferences between the active wires and the ground potential.
Filters in the SFP2 family provide double protection against overvoltage pulses and high-frequency interference. They feature an integrated surge protection function that protects both the input and output side of the filter.
The TTC-6-SFP filters also provide both noise and surge protection but in a slim 6.2-mm wide package. These narrow filters increase signal quality by filtering high-frequency noise interference and suppressing transient surge activity that can disrupt data communications.
The new EMC filters are available with Push-in and screw connection technology. They are DIN rail-mountable and have IP20 degree of protection. The FIL-1S and SFP2 families are rated for use in Class I, Division 2 locations. Learn more at www.phoenixcontact.com/us-emc-filters.
