ASRock Industrial Showcases Secure Edge AI Applications at CYBERSEC 2025

(Taipei, April 16, 2025) — ASRock Industrial, with its leading industrial-grade cybersecurity capabilities, was invited to exhibit at CYBERSEC 2025 Taiwan. At the “Cyber Taiwan Pavilion” in the Cybersecurity for AI Applications Zone, ASRock Industrial showcased the Zero Trust-based Edge AI security solutions. President Lai Ching-te attended the opening ceremony and visited the booth, witnessing ASRock Industrial’s latest innovations in secure edge AI applications. ASRock Industrial provides edge AI devices with comprehensive industrial cybersecurity protection and obtains both IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 international industrial security certifications. ASRock Industrial is also the first in Taiwan to be certified by the FIDO Alliance for FIDO Device Onboard (FDO). The showcased solution integrates FDO technology developed in collaboration with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), enabling automated onboarding, authentication, and deployment of edge AI devices. This zero-touch process minimizes human error and significantly enhances cybersecurity across AI application scenarios.

At booth T0B in the Cybersecurity for AI Applications Zone, ASRock Industrial demonstrated how its edge AI devices, using FDO technology co-developed with ITRI, can automatically onboard, authenticate, and deploy AI applications without manual intervention. Upon activation, the device identifies the owner’s location, completes identity verification, and deploys AI applications to the edge device securely and automatically—achieving true zero-touch deployment and reducing cybersecurity risks. Another highlight was ASRock Industrial’s AI-powered smart customer service solution. By deploying large language models (LLMs) on high-performance edge servers, the solution enables real-time, secure, on-premise AI inference, thereby protecting sensitive data from being uploaded to the cloud. The system also integrates ITRI’s AI server management solution to improve virtual machine management efficiency and further strengthen overall cybersecurity.

In response to the upcoming EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), ASRock Industrial has proactively equipped its edge AI devices with industrial-grade cybersecurity protection and obtained dual international certifications (IEC 62443-4-1 and 4-2). ASRock Industrial’s “defense-in-depth” approach showcases its robust cybersecurity design and resilience. From the design stage, ASRock Industrial implements security mechanisms and has established a comprehensive vulnerability disclosure and management process, fully aligning with CRA’s “Security by Default” principle. ASRock Industrial is committed to securing AI applications and delivering end-to-end secure edge AI solutions to help businesses accelerate AI adoption and enhance their digital transformation competitiveness.
