CAMARILLO, Calif., – June 13, 2013 – Nallatech, a leading supplier of high-performance FPGA solutions, today announced it will showcase its family of FPGA accelerator cards supporting the Altera Software Development Kit (SDK) for OpenCL at International Supercomputing 2013. Nallatech’s PCI Express accelerator cards, featuring Altera’s latest generation of Stratix V Series FPGAs, are capable of accelerating a range of compute and I/O intensive applications while reducing overall power consumption. Visitors to next week’s ISC 2013 in Leipzig, Germany (June 17-June 19), can learn more about programming FPGAs with OpenCL and view a live demonstration by visiting booth #611.
“High performance computing environments are constantly challenged with power, programmability, and scalability to realize their full potential,” said Allan Cantle, president and founder of Nallatech. “HPC applications leveraging OpenCL-compatible FPGA cards can scale dramatically and yield performance increases far greater than traditional programming alternatives.”
Nallatech’s 385 and 395 FPGA accelerator cards allow customers to combine the OpenCL programming model with Altera’s massively parallel FPGA architecture. This combination enables dramatic acceleration of compute-intensive applications while reducing power consumption and total cost of ownership. The Nallatech 385 card is also qualified by leading vendors’ high density server and blade platforms and is ready for deployment with pre-integrated software and IP.
