Xylon logicBRICKS Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Now Runs on the ZedBoard Development Kit from Avnet Electronics Marketing

Zagreb, Croatia, September 20, 2012 – Xylon d.o.o., a leading provider of advanced FPGA application solutions and IP cores, today announced the availability of the 2D and 3D Graphics Processing Units (GPU) logicBRICKS reference design for Xilinx® Zynq™-7000 All Programmable SoC based ZedBoard™ development kit from Avnet Electronics Marketing.

This pre-verified reference design provides system designers with everything needed to develop and display graphics on a PC monitor or other type display connected to the ZedBoard.

Design deliverables include: evaluation logicBRICKS IP cores and hardware design files prepared for Xilinx Platform Studio (XPS) design suite, complete Linux OS image, software drivers, demo applications and documentation.
