Signal Processing Software

Northwich, Cheshire, April 2012 – Following on from the signing of an agreement last year with NEXTXEN to sell their NEXTWave Signal Processing Lab Software in the UK, they have announced further new products including NEXTWave Digital Filter Design Wizard provides a streamlined approach to creating FIR and IIR filter implementations. This software tool walks the user through easy-to-follow steps that result in the digital design of Butterworth, Chebyshev I, Chebyshev II, elliptic, and Kaiser window filters. Impulse and frequency response graphical analysis, coefficient generation to file, and C source code creation are also included.

The NEXTWave™ Speech and Audio Analyzer is a powerful digital signal processing software package that provides an exciting and innovative interactive environment for acoustic data analysis, providing professional real-time speech and audio spectrograms on your PC using a standard sound card. The software environment provides a 3D ‘virtual world’ that allows both real-time A/D data acquisition and file-based operations. This spectrum analyzer software includes FFT selection control that offers the Constant Q Transform (CQT) and arbitrary frequency zoom for enhanced spectrograph waveform display and data analysis.

CodeBox software provides developers with signal processing algorithm source code on demand. To minimize any learning curve associated with implementation of the source functions CodeBox source code is written in plain flat C source for DSP algorithms such as filter design, filter implementation, transforms, signal generators, analog I/O, image processing, and more. CodeBox is essentially a library of specialized source code to use in developing signal processing applications.

The Algorithm Wizard automates the process of creating a new digital signal processing software component that conforms to the Texas Instruments Algorithm Standard – automatically making the new software component xDAIS compliant. One can easily create new software components from scratch by simply entering basic information about the component as you step through the wizard. The Algorithm Wizard also creates test files to aid in testing a new component to ensure proper operation.

NEXTWave SPL is a digital signal processing (DSP) software package that provides an exciting innovative interactive data analysis environment. NEXTWave SPL simplifies data processing and development and provides sophisticated waveform measurement capabilities and displays.
