During DAC, EVE to Highlight ZeBu’s Infinite Verification Possibilities, STMicroelectronics’ Use of ZeBu

SAN JOSE, CALIF. –– June 8, 2010 –– EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, will showcase how its ZeBu fast emulation platforms have infinite verification possibilities during the 47th Design Automation Conference (DAC) June 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Continuous demonstrations of ZeBu-Server in EVE’s Booth (#510) will illustrate its flexible and scalable support for hardware verification, software development, and hardware/software co-verification across multiple application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and system-on-chip (SoC) applications.  EVE will also showcase ZeBu’s interoperability with the introduction of Transaction-Level Modeling (TLM)-2.0 support, bringing hardware assisted verification closer to Electronic System Level (ESL) environments and modern hardware verification methodologies.

Laurent Ducousso, verification manager in the Home Entertainment Group at STMicroelectronics and a long-time ZeBu user, will be a featured speaker in EVE’s booth throughout the week.  He will present, “Successful deployment of ESL Co-Emulation in designing Fourth-Generation of a Home Entertainment chip.”  Ducousso will explain how STMicroelectronics’ Home Entertainment Group deployed ZeBu to shorten the development cycle of the latest generation of set-top box chip.

Ron Choi, EVE’s product marketing director, will present ZeBu-Server’s unique features and the integration of register transfer level (RTL) subsystems with ESL environments during the Exhibitor Forum Tuesday, June 15, at 1 p.m.  Choi, Alicia Strang and Robert C. Carden from Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. will be part of the Verification and Test User Track session Wednesday, June 16, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
