If you’ve ever owned a dog, chances are you’ve wondered just what your pup was thinking from time to time. Maybe you’ve even hired a dog whisperer to get to the bottom of the matter. Well, a group of tech-savvy Swedes have taken their dream of human-canine communication to a whole new level. They’ve invented a headset that translates doggie thought processes into human language.
No More Woof is a doggie-sized EEG-reading headset with an Arduino brain. The instant a thought crosses your pup’s brain, No More Woof analyzes it, translates it into your native tongue and spits out Fido’s all-important musings. Contrary to the name, the headset won’t actually eliminate barking, but at least your dog’s yapping will be accompanied by an audible “I’m hungry!” or “Mailman, for the love of all that is good and holy, mailman!!”
