Choose unfamiliar work music for better productivity and focus

Music can make work fly by faster and maybe even boost your productivity—but that all depends on the type of music you listen to. The folks at productivity music service Focus@Will advise usnot to listen to music we love, but rather a genre we don’t typically listen to.

So if you like jazz, don’t listen to jazz while working, because, although that music will give you pleasure, it will also release dopamine in your brain, actually distracting you.
