Hisense and Chowmainsoft launch VIDAA Control4 driver for smart home integration

The new Control4 driver makes Hisense VIDAA TVs controllable via the Control4 smart home system

[London, UK – 25th July 2025] – Hisense introduces the VIDAA Control4 driver, enabling integration of Hisense VIDAA TVs into smart home environments powered by Control4. Developed in collaboration with Chowmainsoft, the driver allows users to control core TV functions directly through the Control4 interface.

Designed for professional smart home installations, the driver provides fast, reliable IP-based control of features including power, volume, input switching, transport control, channel selection, and app launching (such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Disney Plus). It also supports dynamic feedback, ensuring real-time synchronisation between the Control4 interface and the TV’s actual status.

Compatible with a wide range of VIDAA-powered Hisense TV models, the driver makes it easier for installers to deliver a fully integrated, high-quality entertainment experience. For homeowners, it means intuitive, centralised control of their TV as part of a unified smart home setup.

Robert Andrews, Head of Strategy & GTM TV at Hisense UK said: “The release of the VIDAA Control4 driver marks an exciting new chapter in the evolution of our TV proposition. By working with Chowmainsoft, we’re upgrading smart home integration and making Hisense TVs even more accessible and attractive to the custom install market, providing homeowners with a premium, unified entertainment experience. As the Global No.1 in 100”+ TVs and with a range of exciting new super large screens featuring groundbreaking technologies, including RGB Mini LED, this latest development positions Hisense as the logical choice for all large screen projects of the future.”

Alan Chow, Managing Director, at Chowmainsoft said: “As Hisense continues its global expansion, we’ve seen growing demand from integrators for seamless TV integration. We’re

excited to have partnered with Hisense to deliver a reliable Control4 driver that meets the needs of both professionals and end users. This launch is just the beginning—we’re actively working with Hisense on additional integrations across the other major automation platforms we support to deliver a truly connected smart home experience.”

The Hisense Control4 driver is available for purchase via www.chowmainsoft.com on 25 July 2025.
