Optimised for DSP systems D.SignT developed its own TCP/IP network stack. For many years this stack has been used in several applications. This TCP/IP stack can operate as a background process using only the remaining processing time after all other tasks are completed, thereby not influencing the real-time performance of the DSP system. All functions are non-blocking and interruptible at any time. Resource consumption has been minimized, too.
D.SignT now also ported this network stack to the Texas Instruments Processor TMS320C6657. The D.SignT TCP/IP stack does not require an underlying operating system, but may as well be used in a pre-emptive or cooperative RTOS environment.
The TCP-IP-Stack is also running on D.SignT‘s D.Module C6657 and can be used for customer-specific hardware.
