Bourns Broadens Environmental Sensor Line with New Analog and Digital Pressure Sensors with Extensive PSI Range

The Bourns® BPS160 Series and BPS170 Series provide superior performance in ultra-low pressure sensing applications and additional digital system design flexibility

RIVERSIDE, Calif., March 31, 2025 – Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced that is has broadened its environmental sensor product line with two new pressure sensor series. The Bourns® BPS160 Series Analog Pressure Sensors and the BPS170 Series Digital Pressure Sensors are designed to provide superior performance in ultra-low pressure sensing applications. Both series deliver an extensive (-14.5 to 14.5) PSI range that makes them suitable to a wider variety of applications that include medium/low risk** medical equipment, white goods, industrial P/I and process control systems.

Available in a compact, surface mount package, the two pressure sensors series enable design flexibility for use in digital systems, and also offer compensated plug and play that helps to reduce development time. Designed with dual horizontal ports, 13-bit Digital-to- Analog Conversion (DAC) resolution and an operating temperature range of -20 ºC to 100 ºC, Bourns latest gauge sensors deliver excellent linearity for consistent measurement across various environmental conditions.

Both the Bourns® BPS160 Series analog pressure sensors and BPS170 Series digital pressure sensors are available now and are RoHS* compliant. For more detailed product information, please see: bourns.com/products/sensors/environmental-sensors/compensated-pressure-sensors.
