New High-current, High-inductance Power Inductors Are Ideal For Electric Vehicle Applications

Cary, IL, USA — Coilcraft’s new AGP4233 Series shielded power inductors offer a unique combination of high current handling and high inductance, making them ideal for high-current power supply and filtering applications such as those used in electric vehicle start-stop systems. They are offered in twelve standard inductance values from 6.8 to 470 µH, with current ratings as high as 101.8 Amps. Custom values are also available.

AGP4233 Series inductors feature flat wire windings which result in extremely low DC and AC resistance. Their vertical, through-hole mounting provides a small footprint and solderable tabs extend from the shield for increased board stability. They are halogen free and have RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper terminations.

The AGP4233 Series also meets AEC-Q200 Grade 1 standards (-40°C to +125°C), making these inductors suitable for use in harsh automotive environments.

As with all Coilcraft parts, free evaluation samples and complete technical specifications for the AGP4233 Series are available online at http://www.coilcraft.com/agp4233.cfm.

Parts are available from stock and can be ordered online at buy.coilcraft.com or by calling a local Coilcraft sales office.
