Meggitt Sensing Systems Announces Global Market Launch of Endevco® Three-Channel PE/IEPE Signal Conditioner

April 10, 2013, San Juan Capistrano, California, USA –Meggitt Sensing Systems, a Meggitt group division, has announced the global market launch of the Endevco® model 123, a low-cost, microprocessor controlled, three-channel PE (Charge mode)/IEPE (Voltage mode) bench top signal conditioner.  This model is designed with a flexible setup and a wide bandwidth to 230 kHz (+/-5%), allowing it to be used with Endevco®  PE and IEPE accelerometers, or other industry models, across a variety of general purpose laboratory testing applications.

The Endevco®  model 123 incorporates a charge amplifier when used with PE sensors, and an integral 0, 4 or 10 mA, per channel selectable current source is utilized with IEPE sensors. The unit also features a front panel user interface that allows the programming of Input Sensitivity and Output Sensitivity to calculate the amplifier gain.  Gain settings can also be entered in directly on a per channel basis.  Optional plug-in, 4-pole Butterworth high pass and low pass filter modules are available.  BNC output connectors allow for easy hookup to readout and recording instrumentation.

Common applications for a measurement system which includes the Endevco® model 123 PE/IEPE signal conditioner, along with appropriate sensors, include modal and structural analysis, NVH, automotive and aerospace testing and general in-laboratory applications. In addition, all Endevco® signal conditioners are accompanied by a five-year comprehensive product warranty.  For more information about the model 123 or other products available from Meggitt Sensing Systems, visit www.meggittsensingsystems.com.
