The VSK-T family is housed in a potted and encapsulated chassis mount package, providing a convenient mounting solution when a dedicated circuit board for the power system is either not feasible or is cost prohibitive. The units are compact, measuring as small as 76 x 31.5 x 24 mm (2.99 x 1.24 x 0.94 in) in the 5 W series. The package design also protects against environmental factors such as dust, moisture, and shock and vibration, making these ac-dc modules ideally suited for use in a range of low power ITE, industrial, security and transport applications.
The VSK-T family provides a universal input of 85 to 264 Vac and fully regulated dc outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, and 48 Vdc depending on the series. The modules reach efficiencies of up to 87% and carry UL/cUL and CE 60950-1 certifications. Protections for over voltage, over current, over temperature and short circuit are included as well as isolation voltages of 4K Vac in the 5 and 10 W versions and 3 K Vac in the 15, 20, and 25 W versions.
