Tiny stamp-sized satellites headed to space on the Shuttle today

Update:  Endeavor will not launch today due to power unit problems.

Stamp-size satellites developed at Cornell University are getting a test run aboard the space shuttle Endeavour when it launches today.

“Three prototypes of these chip satellites, named “Sprite,” will be mounted on the International Space Station after the space shuttle Endeavour delivers them on its final flight, which is scheduled to launch at 3:47 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 29.”
