There is still a small town in America where video games are banned

“By a vote of 655-554, Marshfield Town Meeting rejected lifting the town’s ban on coin-operated video games Monday night.

It has been 29 years since the people of Marshfield chased Donkey Kong out of town.

In the decades since the town banished video games from its restaurants and grocery stores, Pac Man and Tron have kept their distance and many have forgotten the debate that raged when the machines went dark.” via Wicked Local
