The White House just Rickrolled some guy on Twitter

Twitter user David Wiggs tweeted “This WH correspondence briefing isn’t nearly as entertaining as yesterday’s.” The White House, with a newfound sense of humor, sent this as the reply:

For those of you unfamiliar with Rickrolling:

Rickrolling is an Internet meme that involved the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song “Never Gonna Give You Up”. The meme was a bait and switch: a person provided a hyperlink that they claim is relevant to the topic at hand, but the link actually took the user to Astley’s video. The link could be masked or obfuscated in some manner so that the user couldn’t determine the true destination of the link without clicking. When a person clicked on the link and was led to the web page, he or she was said to have been “rickrolled”. Rickrolling extended beyond web links to playing the video or song disruptively in other situations, including public places; this culminated when Astley and the song made a surprise appearance in the 2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a televised event with tens of millions of viewers. via Wikipedia

BMV080: World’s Smallest Particulate Matter (PM) Sensor
In this episode of Chalk Talk, Liaisan Khismatova from Bosch Sensortec and I explore the benefits of the Bosch BMV080, the world’s smallest particulate matter (PM) sensor. They also investigate the fanless innovation at the heart of the BMV080 Particulate Matter Sensor and how the silent and maintenance-free operation and ultra-compact size of this sensor makes it a game changer for next generation air quality monitoring applications.
