Project Shellter, 3D Printing Shells to Ease Hermit Crab Shell Shortage

Project Shellter is a MakerBot community initiative by Miles Lightwood to design and 3D print shells for pet hermit crabs, who like their wild relatives, are facing a global shortage of donor shells. Lightwood hopes the man-made shells will stop the practice of removing shells from the wild for use by pet hermit crabs. via Laughing Squid
