PDX11’s Hackathon and Unconference, April 1-2

Live near Portland, Oregon?  Come to the Hackathon and Unconference

Why:  PDX11’s goal for this event is to attract and assemble developers to work on several key pieces of software. Its overarching goal is to put the spotlight on our vibrant tech scene and make Portland the go-to place for talent and investment opportunities.

Who:  Developers who want to work on software including Calagator, ePDX.org, CivicApps inspired projects like PDXAPI, and open source Trimet data processing applications. Also those who can pair up and hack codes like Ruby, Python, PHP and Javascript. Non-technical work includes documentation of resources, blogging, data entry, testing and feature requests.

Date/Time:

April 1: convene at 5pm for introductions, some quick presentations and brainstorming for the next day’s sessions.

April 2: start at 9am, set an agenda, have lunch around noon and continue with 45-minute sessions until 4:30pm.
