Elon Musk uses Iron Man-Inspired holographic 3D user interface to print a rocket part

Tesla CEO Elon Musk (who we could safely call a futurist at this, can’t we?) has more on his mind that just cars and 4,000 MPH Hyperloop transportation systems. He also tweeted his intention of developing a hand-manipulated hologram design engine and promised to post a video of designing a rocket part with only hand gestures and printing the part in titanium.

Medieval cookbook’s unicorn recipe begins with “Taketh one unicorne….”

The British Library recently discovered a Fourteenth Century English cookbook written by Geoffrey Fule, a royal cook. Fule included a recipe for unicorn meat. 

The recipe calls for the beast to be marinaded in cloves and garlic, and then roasted on a griddle. The cookbook’s compiler, doubtless Geoffrey Fule himself, added pictures in its margins, depicting the unicorn being prepared and then served. Cern staff ‘accelerate’ arrival of baby Lorenzo

A baby boy was born outside the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (Cern) last month, the organisation has reported.

The baby’s parents were driving to hospital when they realised medical assistance would be required sooner rather than later.

DIY Hermit House allows users to customize and build their own micro house

Dutch duo Daniel Venneman and Mark van der Net have created an open source home kit that allows DIY advocates to build and customize their own micro house. The Hermit House features a unique zigzag floor plan that aims to create a multipurpose interior with a spacious feel, despite its 14 square meter (150 sq. ft.) footprint.
