London Underground to get 120 WiFi hotspots in advance of the 2012 Olympics

The London Underground has plans to outfit 120 stations with wi-fi coverage by June 2012 – just in time for the Olympics. There won’t be wi-fi extending into the actual tunnels, but commuters will be able to check email or surf the web while on the station platforms.
