Linux Professional Announces New Affiliate for Asia Pacific

(Sacramento, CA, USA: September 21, 2010) The Linux Professional Institute (LPI), the world’s premier Linux certification organization (http://www.lpi.org), announced a new affiliate partner for the Asia Pacific region–LPI-APAC.  LPI-APAC will include the following countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.  LPI-APAC will be managed by Pacific Advantage International (http://www.pal-intl.com)–an industry leader in outsourced business expansion services for technology companies in the Asia Pacific region.

“We look forward to working with Pacific Advantage to expand our network of supporters, training partners, and LPI alumni throughout the Asia Pacific region. Their history of leadership in assisting technology companies to grow these markets is important to LPI as we look to strengthen our service portfolio for Linux Professionals around the world.  LPI-APAC is the right choice for new leadership in the region,” said Jim Lacey, president and CEO of LPI.  Mr. Lacey added that Pacific Advantage had existing offices and representatives in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, India, Korea, Thailand and Australia which provides LPI-APAC an ideal “on-the-ground” foundation for the development of LPI activities in the region.
