LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — September 24, 2024 — Same Sky’s Switches Group today announced the expansion of its slide switches product line with the introduction of over 60 new models. The SLW family features a range of new circuit types, including SPDT, SP3T, SP4T, DPDT, DP3T, and DP4T as well as switch functions that include on-on, on-on-on, on-off-on, and off-on-on-on. Housed in packages as small as 8.3 x 5.6 x 3.6 mm, these new slide switches are ideal for space-constrained designs in consumer electronics, industrial controls, and more.
Available in through hole packages with PC pin terminations, the new models offer pitches from 2 to 6.9 mm, raised actuators, and horizontal or vertical orientations. These slides switches carry rated voltages of 30 or 50 Vdc, rated currents from 200 to 500 mA, and operating temperature ranges from -20 to 70°C. They also feature shorting or non-shorting contact timing.
