Blu Wireless and LGS Innovations collaborate to deliver impact in 5G

Powerful influence in 5G applications from combined advanced technologies

Bristol, UK, April 23, 2018 – Blu Wireless, a specialist provider of wireless networking solutions for the unlicensed spectrum band, today announced it is working with LGS Innovations, a technology company providing specialised mission-critical communications products, R&D and services, to deliver gigabit wireless communications for 5G applications such as gigabit grade Fixed Wireless Access. Both companies will demonstrate this leading edge technology at the 2018 Brookly 5G Summit this week.

Blu Wireless has been working with LGS Innovations for the past two years to integrate its leading “HYDRA” gigabit mmWave modem technology with the advanced W-Band active phased array technology from LGS Innovations. This authoritative combination of advanced enabling technology will deliver unprecedented impact in the 5G market space for cutting edge applications that will place excessive demands on bandwidth.

“Our partnership with LGS Innovations is culminating in some very exciting results,” said Henry Nurser, CEO at Blu Wireless Technology. “At the 5G Brooklyn Summit this week we’ll both be showcasing the newest generations of our respective technologies, delivering solutions that will dramatically transform network environments.”

At the Brooklyn 5G Summit, Blu Wireless will demonstrate its new dual HYDRA 1.0 gigabit mmWave modem technology, with LGS Innovations latest generation of advanced mmWave active phased array radio technology.

About Blu Wireless:

Blu Wireless has a strong history in Wi-Gig (IEEE 802.11ad), but identifying the gap in the market, has shifted its focus to 5G offerings in the unlicensed spectrum band. Having grown to over 80 staff, recently opening a new office in India, Blu Wireless offers chip IP as its core offering but has many other value-added service offerings, and expertise in everything from chip designs to module and board designs.

For customers looking for bespoke or niche designs, Blu Wireless can offer complete design, testing, and validation services. Based in Bristol, Blu Wireless is the leading vendor in this space, and reflects the city’s friendly atmosphere and proud industrial heritage.

Electrical Connectors for Hermetically Sealed Applications
Sponsored by Mouser Electronics and Bel
Many hermetic chambers today require electrical pathways to provide internal equipment with power, data or signals, or to receive data and signals from equipment within the chamber. In this episode of Chalk Talk, Amelia Dalton and Brad Taras from Cinch Connectivity Solutions explore the role that seals and connectors play in the performance of hermetic chambers. They examine the methodologies to determine hermetic seal leaks, the benefits of epoxy hermetic seals, and how Cinch Connectivity’s epoxy-based seals and hermetic connectors can add value to your next design.
