Dynatrace announces dedicated digital performance monitoring resource for 2016 Olympic Games

WHO: Dynatrace, a leading digital performance management software company, will be monitoring the digital performance of the top broadcast networks, partners, sponsors, supporters, sports organizations, athletes, brands and social networks during this year’s Olympic Games. All data will be available in real-time.

WHY: During the two weeks of Olympic Games, many websites and mobile apps will experience substantially greater traffic than at other times as the world follows, and engages in, all the action. For visitors within Brazil, as well as those around the world, this could mean that these web and mobile apps slow down or experience errors, causing frustration for people who expect fast digital experience.

WHAT: Dynatrace will monitor how fast these websites and mobile apps are loading and identify any outages or errors that might occur. The company will look at the overall performance and response times of select digital properties across North America, EMEA, APAC, DACH, France, Italy, the UK and Latin America, and compare data based on its origin location.

For additional insights, Dynatrace experts will be available for commentary and analysis of the data during the Games.
