Vector Software Showcases the Latest Release of VectorCAST at Embedded World

Providence, RI – 1/28/2016 – Vector Software, the world’s leading provider of innovative software solutions for robust embedded software quality, will showcase its latest release of VectorCAST, version 6.4 – the most advanced test automation platform for C/C++ and Ada software development. VectorCAST 6.4 includes a host of new features and enhancements in data aggregation, reporting, usability, and tool integration including:

Function and Function Call Coverage: Required for ISO 26262 Certification, VectorCAST 6.4 Function Call Coverage for each test case and in aggregate across all aspects of testing.

Static Analysis Integration Improvements: VectorCAST out-of-the-box integration with leading static analysis tools has been reworked to provide a consistent set of controls, regardless of the static tool being used.  The configuration, annotated listings, and message viewer provide the same workflow for VectorCAST/Lint, PRQA QA?C, QA?C++, and Klocwork.

Attendees of Embedded World 2016 can view a live demonstration of VectorCAST 6.4 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, Hall 4, Stand 250 from February 23 to February 25, 2016.

VectorCAST 6.4 is immediately available to customers worldwide. For additional details please visit Vector Software at www.vectorcast.com.

Additional events: Vector Software’s CTO, John Paliotta, will be presenting “Following in Deming’s Footsteps to Improve Software Quality” on Tuesday, February 23rd at 3:30 PM CET in Hall 4A.  There will be ongoing presentations at the Vector Software booth with partners including: Renesas, ExpressLogic, IAR, TI, Green Hills, Infineon, HighTec EDV-Systeme, Keil, Wind River, and STMicroelectronics.
