Level VI External Ac-Dc Desktop Power Supply Family extended with 50 and 65 W Models

TUALATIN, Ore. — June 9, 2015 — CUI Inc today announced the addition of 50 W and 65 W models to its recently introduced Level VI desktop ac-dc power supply family. The SDI50-U and SDI65-U series meet the more stringent average efficiency and no load power requirements mandated by the US Department of Energy (DoE) set to go into effect in February 2016. The new Level VI standards aim to significantly lower the amount of power consumed when the end application is not in use or is no longer connected to the system.

The power supplies feature a wide universal input voltage range of 90~264 Vac and are available in single output voltages of 9, 12, 15, 18, 19, 24, and 48 Vdc depending on the series. Offering UL/cUL, GS and PSE safety approvals and meeting the radiated and conducted emission requirements for FCC Part 15B Class B, the SDI50-U and SDI65-U are designed for global applications. Both series are housed in a compact package measuring 4.52 x 2.08 x 1.50 in (115 x 53 x 38 mm) with an IEC320/C14 ac inlet.  Additional features include over voltage, over current and short circuit protections.

The new SDI50-U and SDI65-U series are available with prices starting at $20.68 per unit at 100 pieces through distribution, please contact CUI:http://www.cui.com/contact for OEM pricing.
