Pasternack Expands Lines of Microwave and Millimeter Wave Right Angle RF Adapters

Irvine, CA – Pasternack, a leading manufacturer and supplier of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, has expanded their lines of high frequency right angle RF adapters which are widely used in the military and commercial markets for applications such as wireless communications, test labs, equipment racks and many other space-limited applications.

Pasternack’s new lines of microwave and millimeter wave right angle RF adapters are offered with four in-series and between-series connector options including 1.85mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm and 3.5mm. The upper operating frequency for these right angle adapters ranges from 34.5 GHz with the 3.5mm versions up to 50 GHz with 1.85mm and 2.4mm adapter versions. These right angle RF adapters also exhibit low VSWR which ranges from 1.25:1 up to 1.5:1 depending on the configuration. A key benefit of these right angle adapters is that they allow 90 degree turns in spaces too small to accommodate the bending of many coaxial cables These adapters can also reduce excessive strain on the cables in certain tight-space applications.

Also available from Pasternack is a large portfolio of straight-body microwave and millimeter wave RF adapters including 1.0mm, 1.85mm, 2.4mm, 2.92mm, 3.5mm, SMP, mini-SMP and SMA. Maximum frequency levels for the straight-body versions range from 18 GHz up to 67 GHz with VSWR as low as 1.10:1. All of Pasternack’s right angle and high frequency adapters are available from stock and will ship same day they are ordered.

“Our greatly expanded offering of high frequency right angle adapters provides engineers a multitude of adapter designs and performance parameters to choose from that can be used in a broad spectrum of applications,” says Steve Ellis, Interconnect Product Manager at Pasternack. “Our mission at Pasternack is to support our customers with largest selection of in-stock RF components for when their need arises.”

Pasternack’s new microwave and millimeter wave right angle RF adapters are in-stock and available to ship immediately.
